Growing up in Vietnam 🇻🇳 and later moving to the U.S. for college, I’ve always tried to stay connected to my culture — especially through food, which is such a big part of Vietnamese life.
I love to share about my culture with foreign friends, and also learn about theirs! To me, cooking and eating together is the best way to connect with others.

Fun fact: my Vietnamese name "Diệp" means "the leaf" or "the green color of leaf" ☘️ It probably explains why I love being outdoors and hiking! Most of the hikes I've done are in Washington state, and I can't say enough how gorgeous they are ✨⛰️
I'm also interested in learning about animals — going to the zoo or aquarium always sounds exciting to me. I'm planning to adopt a cat whenever I'm ready~
